In the 1930s the waterfront and back bay of Biloxi were very active places with shrimp boats canneries and yacht clubs on the Gulf of Mexico. The work offered here depicts a ferry boat moored at the dock. The buildings visible on the horizon in the background indicate that this is a scene on the back bay of Biloxi.
